Frosted Floor Film

It is a floor covering material with a frosted texture (matte, slightly grainy or textured) on the surface. It is essentially a functional floor film, usually made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride), TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) or other composite materials, with a backing adhesive or requiring adhesive to be attached to the floor surface.

Precautions:

Difficulty in removal: Strong adhesive backing may be difficult to remove, as it may leave adhesive stains and even damage the original floor surface (especially wooden floors). It is important to choose products with removable backing or to understand the removal method in advance.
Durability differences: Products of different brands, materials, and thicknesses have significant differences in durability. Cheap PVC film may experience significant wear or discoloration after a few years, while high-quality TPU film can have a lifespan of over 10 years.
High ground requirements: The ground must be very flat, dry, sturdy, clean, and free of oil and dust. Any unevenness or defects will appear on the film, even leading to blistering and glue peeling. Before laying, it is usually necessary to repair and level.
